Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I know
that you're enthusiastic and excited to be shooting with me. I feel the same
way about working with you. Whether this is your 1st or your 21st shoot; I have put this message
together because I want you to understand that a photo shoot is only as good as
you make it! Regardless of what "you bring" to the shoot; I promise deliver consistent
lighting techniques and quality images.
Many models feel that all they have do to get good images is; show up to the
shoot. This way
of thinking will almost always yield mediocre results. I once heard a great
photographer say; "All I have to do is take the picture, the rest is up to you."
I kind of feel that way too! Unless you plan on hiring an art director, a
stylist, a hair dresser, and all those other things that big budget shoots have
-
most likely it will be just me, you, and a make up artist. I've been shooting
for quite a while so I know what results
I'm capable of producing. I need for you to know what it will take for you
to get the shot.
I will help you throughout the shoot so that we get you the best images
possible. I will tweak your poses so they can be right on point! I will tell
you what looks good in the shot and what doesn't look good. I will work "with" you to make
you feel as comfortable as possible during our shoot. Most likely we will have
only a certain amount of time to shoot and; between the makeup applications and
wardrobe changes, I will not have the time to coach you step-by-step, pose by
pose, through our entire shoot, I just can't do it. You must come prepared with
poses or examples of poses. Don't be afraid to bring references such as
magazines or other pictures.
You must be ready to shoot the content that we talked about shooting prior to
you showing up. I will not try to convince to you shoot anything we
haven't already agreed too. If we're shooting booty shoots, be ready to shoot
booty shots. If we're shooting casual be ready for casual, if we're shooting
nude .... you must be ready. All too often I find that newer models are far more
comfortable taking pictures of themselves in the bathroom mirror or with a
webcam. If this describes you; you probably want to not schedule a shoot with me
until you have a little more experience in front of a camera other than your
own. I will not entertain any refunds because your expressions or poses are not
what you expected them to be.
